Do you plan to replace your CPU as well? Unless yes, I wouldn't replace the motherboard. The one you have is fine for that generation of CPU, and due to Intel not being kind with compatibility, anything you bought would only work with that older generation of CPU.

What issue are you seeing with the current board? If you are just looking to do a refresh, then wait and do it along with the CPU.

If you are are going to replace the CPU and want an good deal, get an ASRock B450 Pro4 (basic board, but covers what you need) with either a Ryzen 3600 CPU or if you need to stay super cheap, pickup a 2600 now and upgrade it later when it becomes a bottleneck.

Hello! thank you for replying! im guessing that you saw my CPU from my other posts? but yeah I am on a REALLY low budget (getting bundles together right now is not something I can afford) so idk if I can really do anything right now but are you sure the board will be enough and better then my current one? also can you please link it? thanks! :)

No, I just assumed the CPU you have is one compatible with the board you have ?

Without knowing what your upgrade goals are, it is hard to say it will be "better". The specs of your current board are honestly not bad at all. With a new board you will get some USB 3.1 ports, a newer 7.1 audio codec and RGB control, nothing major. The biggest advantage would be support for faster RAM, if you plan to upgrade your RAM (your current DDR4 should work)

Here is the board. It has all the basic features you expect in 2019 and a solid VRM, but not great if you plan to overclock.

https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450M Pro4/index.asp (if you need to stick to the mATX size like you have now)

PS: the combo I suggest does not include on-board graphics. Make sure you have a GPU if you plan to move forward. If not, get a 3400G APU instead of the 3600 CPU.

If you are not in a rush, you may want to wait for PCIe 4.0 (and maybe even USB4) boards to become more mainstream and affordable. Those are some of the hot new features that you will want going forward. So may be better to save your money now and get a bundle down the road, just a thought.

Can you list your country, current parts, budget, and what uses are?

Im from israel! I added a report of my system cause I dont know everything in detail (cpuz says my motherboard is different but its what I said idk why it does that) and budget? I would go ahead and say around 30-100$ (not accurate because its not really my money so I cant do whatever I want) and I need it to get rid of a stupid flashing issue ive been having ever since I got this PC X_X (prebuilt) and to get more mhz of my ram as well! :D

I understand, I was pointing out the AMD solution if you are looking for a low-cost Motherboard+CPU upgrade. As I said before, I don't suggest upgrading the motherboard if you plan to keep your existing CPU.

Well I NEED an upgrade! do you know any good intel motherboards please? :)
