Hi y'all, got another PC build that I have to plan, this time the customer is very focused on the aesthetics - which influenced a lot of my choices. I'm still open for some good suggestions though!

It's use will be light gaming (probably things like Sims 4, Minecraft etc), web browsing, discord -- general use really. Which may have you look at £865 and go "What the f--?" To which I'll respond, I'm hoping that the Monitor, Memory, SSD, Keyboard (this is still subjective to change the most), lighting, wifi pci card, case and PSU will remain constant for the years to come, with the only changing part being CPU / Addition of a GPU.

We were going for a white/black theme but white monitors don't come in a lot of variety so we settled for a silver-stand one.

I included everything in this PCPartpicker, but with only the tower included, the total is £537~ I know I'll get flack for the choice in fan, the Meshify C already comes with 2 fans and I doubt the system will get that hot, so I didn't really want to spend anymore money on a full set of good fans i.e. Noctua, Be quiet.

Many thanks for any responses,

vK

better build, does right under 500£ with tower only.

you can spend the overhead on peripherals as a very good monitor is included.

edit: and you can get cheaper keyboards that are still RGB and has decent mechanical switches.
