AppleColor RGB Monitor (model A2M6014, the IIgs monitor) Not Working

ConnerWithAnE

I have my apple IIgs plugged into the monitor and both plugged in and turning on. The machine will boot properly but the monitor merely makes that classic CRT sound and just sits there. The indicator light does not come on at all and there is no visible display. I was just wondering if anyone would know what the reason might be?

Thanks

Probably a power supply problem. The degaussing you hear is handled via a posistor and works even with a broken power supply.
