My current setup is a Ryzen 3600, with DDR4 3600, and a 5700 XT. Would there be any benefit apart from PCIE 4 in upgrading to a X570 ( been looking at the ASUS TUF or the MSI MPG) board from a Crosshair VI Hero X370.

I am building another secondary computer with my old 1600X and I am trying to decide on whether I should I upgrade my current board  to a X570 and move the X370 to the secondary build, or just pickup a B450 for the 1600X. The price difference is about $100, not that its a lot, I just don't see a point spending money if I'm not going to notice a difference. I spend most of my time in linux compiling, gaming through a compatibility layer, and the occasional image editing with the 3600 whereas the 1600X will be primarily for gaming and streaming in windows. I don't know how much of an upgrade moving to PCIE 4 alone would be.
