Start menu icon problem

Hi LTT!

 

not that big of a deal but it's driving me crazy. For some reason my start menu icons are just 'x' as shown in the picture below.

Any idea on how to fix it? I deleted IconCache from appdata/local and rebooted but still nothing, am i missing something or ?

The last time this happened to me it resolved itself, however, depending on how old the install is, a clean install would be recommended
