Pretty sure your memory controller will run both sticks at the lowest common speed (i.e. 2133 MHz), no matter if you try to run them in dual-channel configuration or not. It won't be able to run at two different speeds at the same time. So I would try dual-channel, because this way you at least get some additional bandwidth (not guaranteed to work, so probably will have to put them in different colored slots).

@Eigenvektor @C2dan88 Thank you for your replies, i will deffinatly try dual channel as first to squeeze as much performance as i can get and if it wont work then i will seperate them

i appreciate your help guys

Hi guys i have recently ordered a new ram stick for my pc and i know it doesent match my old ram speeds and they are both single channel rams but my question is which is the best way to set them performance wise or there wont be any affect no matter how i will put them,

my current ram is (Kingston hyperX 8GB 2133MHz DDR4 non-ecc CL14 DIMM (HX421c14FB/8)

and the new ram stick i have ordered is ( HyperX Fury 8GB 3000MHz DDR4 CL15 DIMM  (HX430C15FB3/8)

should i put each in different slot i mean non matching colors because it's not dual channel ram sticks? or it wont matter and i can put them in the same channel,

also about configuration which timings should i set on motherboard CL14 or CL15 and should i overclock my slow ram to 2500 or just have both of the rams run at 2133

thanks in advanced

Yes Eigenvektor miss matched ram speeds even run at lowest speed of your ram sticks. Over clocking will increase the speed but could damage the higher speed ram due to heat degradation, if you can get matching speed and latency for ram sticks!
