Good Power Supply ??

Go to solution Solved by OrionFOTL,

Hi there.

Your entire PC with i5-8400 and RTX2060 Super will only consume around 250W under heavy load, so you don't need a 650W PSU.

RTX2060 Super itself only consumes around 180W under load.

nJoy Wooden has a fake 80+ rating and wasn't tested by anybody, so we have no idea if it's garbage or good.

Pure Power 11 is good, while Corsair VS650 is low quality.

To properly help you choose a PSU, we need to know the particular web stores you're buying from. We can't just blindly start suggesting power supplies from  USA market, because you're from a different country with different options and prices.

Hi there , Im kinda new in building a gaming pc so i need your help...

I have an i5 8400 with 16gb ram and Im looking to buy a RTX 2060 SUPER. So basically i kinda need a power supply that has about 600 - 650W I think if im not wrong....

Now i have a few options but im not kinda sure in which power supply should i take.

1. nJoy Woden 650 - [ 650W , 80plus gold] - 65 Euros (about 70 dollars)

2. Be quiet! Pure Power 11 - [ 600W , 80plus gold] - 88 Euros (about 100 dollars)

3. Corsair VS650 - [ 650W , 80plus white] - 88 Euros (about 100 dollars)

If you have any other power supply that is actually better than the ones i wrote with about the same price please inform me , but if anything which one of these power supplies do i consider for my build ?

Thank you

Hi , Thanks for taking the time to help me out.

So im more into the Be Quiet Power supply , here's the link where im trying to buy it from : [ https://gjirafa50.com/pjese-per-kompjutere/burime/600w-e-me-shume/burim-energjie-be-quiet!-pure-power-11-600w/ ] in this store is also the nJoy Power supply but I got the Corsair one from another Website.

So this Be quiet power supply is 600W which I think its kinda better for long term ?? because i think in the near future im going to modificate my pc more.

Thank you again.

Yeah, Pure Power 11 500W or 600W is a good choice. There are some other options like SIlentiumPC Supremo, but Be Quiet is just as good if not better in some things.

Alright , thank all of you. You helped me a lot , thanks again and take care :)

That's the purpose of the Board. Do You have access to Bitfenix formula Gold?  Either 450 or 550w would be great. Better unit, than the PurePower 11. And cheaper.

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )

I looked up and searched the stores that are close to me and unfortunately I couldn’t find this power supply , apparently they don’t sell them. Anyways thanks
