Question about SSD & laptop

Can be SSD installed in any laptop? Or you need to buy special laptop which already has installed SSD inside?

most laptops use a 2.5" HDD and since most SSD are 2.5" and use the same connections (SATA), it should work fine.

Do you need to remove current HDD from laptop for this? I mean do you replace it with SSD or you can additionally add SSD as well?

You need to remove the HDD, unless you have some fancy laptops with two hard drive "cages"

If you have a really old laptop that uses IDE or one that uses bios whitelist for its drives, then installing SSD will pose a problem.
