I've been searching up some phone benchmarks (after chancing upon the techquickie on why do phones slow down over time) and found some rather strange trends. Some flagship phones were slower than some of their "takedown" models in quite a few of these tests (such as the S10 vs the S10e here and the Note 10+ vs the Note 10+ 5G here). Now i don't really know the reliability of these tests, and whether the results are within the margin for error for these tests, but why would some of these results pop up? Is it because the same processor is being used to drive more integrated software? Any other reasonable explanation?
