Looking for ideas

Hello i'm here asking if anyone has any cool ideas/recommendations on what i could do with decent gaming laptop that i'm going to have laying around.

 

So the story for anyone who cares is that i'm building myself a gaming pc when black friday hits and that is gonna leave me with a laptop that i'm definetly not getting rid of since its useful for me, so since i'm gonna be keeping but not using it as often i've decided to come here to ask for some ideas on what i could do with it.

 

The laptops specs are:

I5 7300HQ

GTX 1050TI

16GB of ram

 

It's still a good laptop that is going to see use with me but not as much and i'm looking to put it to some sort of useful work when i'm not gaming on it.

You could run folding@home when you're not using it, or contribute to some other distributed computing project.

Use it as an HTPC. Put Plex on it with movies, music, or shows and you can stream from it. Could also put Steam on it and use Big Picture mode to play games on your TV.
