Need help picking between these two monitors

I was looking at these two Samsung and AOC monitors and couldn't find any obvious differences between the two to help me pick. Any input would be appreciated :)

(Linus did a video on the AOC monitor but there seems to be no info anywhere on the samsung)

More information requested, like use scenario, what you're connecting it to, etc.

Based on monitor specs alone I'd go for the AOC because you already have a review available to you and the warranty plan seems pretty awesome.  I've worked for Samsung product support once upon a time (like a decade ago), sometimes we weren't allowed to be that nice.

I would say you should look at a curved TV/monitor in person before you buy one though.  Some people like them, some don't.

It'd be nice if you could see the exact models in person, but my earlier comment was specifically referring to the differences between a curved panel vs. a flat panel.  Looking at TVs on display for example where they show off a Samsung curved panel TV would help you determine if you liked the curved panel.

I would not recommend either without 1st seeing a statistical thorough review.

I have only found 'overviews' of the specs with some subjective opinions. Nothing factual or statistical (like those from rtings.com or tftcentral.co.uk)

I'd suggest u look at the aforementioned review sites and see what catches ur eye their. I advise against buying a monitor based purely on specs and subjective overviews since they never tell u everything u need to know and are very misleading.*

*example: Specs never give u information on panel uniformity

Linus did a vid on the AOC monitor but it sees that the samsung one is brand new or something cause there are absolutely no reviews of it

LTT do ....overviews. With 'some' technical testing like color gamut.

but they are far from thorough reviews. They lack a lot of the technical factual testing required for a full review. its ill advised to base purchasing decisions on 'overviews' like that.

No reviews being available isnt always an indication of it being brand new,  sometimes they are just not worth reviewing.
