Basic requirements for a streaming box?

Finishing up with my computer rebuild, I've realized I've ended up with a low end computer backbone available for doing things with; I7-4770K, Z87 motherboard, 32Gb or ram,along with an old mid-tower case I never got ride of.

 

I've had thoughts about doing some streaming, so I'm wondering, what would it take to convert that into a stream box, basically as the 2nd computer in a streaming rig? I've got a pair of 60gb SSDs, and I think I have an old Radeon HD 7750.

 

This a mad idea, or something that might be doable and workable?
