Hi all,

My PC that I built about 2 months ago, the mic and headphones don't work. To get any audio I need to plug my headset into my monitor. I have a splitter and I get no sound input or output if I plug my headset and mic into the pc. I was told the issue could be Corsair RAM mixed with Ryzen CPUs because apparently they don't usually work well together. Could that be the cause?

are you able to switch audio device from your monitor to your headphones once you plugged in?

Agreed, this could also be the likely cause.

You may be using your GPU's audio instead of your motherboard's
