Upgrade

Dannes33

Hi, I am curently running a msi radeon rx470 on my ryzen 5 2600x ( watercooled ) ,16gb ram and 550watt psu and want to upgrade it. I have been thinking of getting a rtx 2070 super or 2070 (if I can get my hands on one). SO I was wondering if its a smart move, if my cpu will get bottlenecked and if my psu is good enough.

With appreciation, Daniel

If you're planning to game on 1440p, you're good to go as long as your PSU isn't some chinese crap.

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.

It wouldn't be a bottleneck, but you should also consider a 5700 xt and then make your choice. What's the power supply model?

Corsair cx 550M

Then you'll be fine. Check if you'd be better off with a 2070S or a 5700 XT, the 2070 is eol and inferior to these two in terms of performance
