Hey,

I bought the Kone XTD recently and i can´t turn off Easy-Shift+.

I will use the "Back" button (Button 5 in picture) as a back button and not for Easy-Shift.

In the driver is it defined as "IE Backward", like it was in my old Kone+ driver for the back feature.

Every profile is the same and it does not change randomly.

Greetings

Helge

Edit: I have tried to reinstall the software as Admin and started is as Admin, it changes nothing. But i also tried changing key 5 to something else like "menu" or "Windows Key", what worked perfectly fine. Just "IE Backwards" does not work.

Some Ideas?

So it acts like it's still Easyshift mode after you have assigned button to work as IE back? Are you using newest drivers? Since Backspace is general shortkey for it, you can try to bind Backspace to button 5. Does IE back work on any other button? And have you tried to assign Easyshift to another button?

I realize I'm necro-posting a bit here but I'm very confused as to how to get the driver to work. every time I try to update the settings to the mouse it crashes and fails to change the bound macro (I'm trying to do the same as helge and turn my back button into a back button)

Daily Driver:

SOLUTION: I created an account just to share what I have found.  First, you will need to exclude the Roccat mouse folders and .exe's from Windows defender.  Then, the real quicker was doing a manual firmware update at C:\Program Files (x86)\ROCCAT\Kone XTD Optical Mouse\FWupdate

This did the trick!  I had the same issues; no macros, no back button, no ability to change the colors.  Now everything works and I love it.  Hope this helps other people.
