Virtual Reality Requirements

My endgame with PC upgrading is to be able to run my video games with 60 fps on the virtual desktop within the VRhome environment. Having tried out some friends' PCs and VR, it seems that the specs will be quite demanding and I don't have the means to find out the requirements myself. I'd really like to have this goal in mind when picking new PC parts, but I have no idea where to begin. I'd rather keep cost as low as possible, since I don't really have the funds to build a God Tier PC.

For example, playing Destiny 2 while within the VRhome environment. Having seen For Honor run in the VRhome without adequate hardware was unbearable.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! I'm rather new to the world of PC upgrading and would love to do this as competently as possible!
