hello, i have a general queston about the cooling of the whole pc and not just a cpu fan and such, my question is there a way that i would be able to make all fans i have (cpu, gpu, and general) run at max, i have a very old setup and i think am too broke to fix it up any time soon, but for now i just want to keep it as cool as possible so i can keep using it for as long as possible, my cpu gets extremely hot, usually averaging 65 with no apps running, and over 85 with san andreas and chrome and sometimes reaching 105, i know that this is bad because it will not only lower performance of pc but also shorten its life, my gpu does not overheat but still i want to keep it very cold.

im running on intel core 2 quad q6600 2.4ghz, and 3gb ddr2 ram, radeon hd 3600 with around 1.7gb, and a stock dell dimension 9200(xps410) mobo 0wg855, and 375 max watt power supply, with 159gb hdd, i connect my fans with a 4 pin cable to a five pin socket/opening into my motherboard, i would like to try and do it with some sort of software but if i need an external fan controller hopefully it would be a cheap option.

with this i do know that my fans will be extremely loud, however this will not be an issue for me because (other than im used to it) is that i will not be sitting for very long time close to this pc but will use it as a basic workstation / desktop.

should anyone help, i would be grateful.

any suggestions are welcome

Changing thermal paste helps. Is this some pre-built or...? You generally don't have 5pin fan headers. Best way to get get fans to full speed is to connect them directly to PSU. Probably with molex connector.
