ARGB connections

I am  going to get an x570-i motherboard from Gigabyte, I heard that there is some limit to how many devices you can hook into the ARGB header on the motherboard. How do I find this limit? How do I know if I will be under that limit? Where can I get an LED strip that can be controlled with software  in windows?
