Post count is pretty meaningless IMO, the reputation system means a lot more to me, when I see someone with a very high like count it says to me that they post good stuff.

 

If you have a very high post count and a proportionally low like count then maybe it's because you overpost, or half of your posts just say 'repost' for example.
