Hello everyone! I would like to run two of my computer drives at once using some sort of virtualization technology.

I have two SSDs, one with Windows and another with MacOS, and I was wondering if someone could give me an idea on what I would need to do.

I know Unraid exists, but from what I have seen I would need to convert the drives, but I don't know if they would run on their own again (I don't need to run both of them at the same time, all the time).

I know on one of the LTT videos Anthony used a Linux host and KVMs to run his Mac. Could I do something like that with a physical drive and then have them boot separate when I'm not using both?

The reason I can't use virtualbox is because I need OpenGL (Or whatever the Mac equivalent is) to run Blender, virtualbox only supports 2.1.

If anyone has any methods of doing this, I would be extremely grateful!

Other programs exist, VMWare for one. Have you looked into that?

Will I be able to use my physical drive and pass through OpenGL 3.3?

Also, doesn’t VMware cost a pretty penny?

If not, I would definitely look in to that.

THere is a free version, VMPlayer, otherwise there is a cost version.

As to OGL, beats me, do some searching around and find out.
