New PC BSOD

Go to solution Solved by Rogue Arnold,

So I believe I figured out the issue. Swapped my 3600 CPU with another one and had been running 2 days without an issue.

Over30 days since I bought it now though so will have to go through AMD for RMA. Hopefully that is a quick and easy process.

So my PC was randomly getting the BSOD. This is new parts and fresh Windows 10 Pro install. Sometimes not long into OS being booted. Tried updating any drivers that where available without any success. Have 2 ram sticks and tried moving around or just one without any success. Tried hard drive from old system with same issue. Some of the errors are IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, AMDPPM.SYS, NTFS.SYS, PFN_LIST_CORRUPT.

I tried doing a clean install and now is giving the blue screen part way through install. Not sure what to try next and can't pull dump file as windows isn't even installed now.

Asus B450-F Gaming

Ryzen 3600

XFX RX 580 Black Edition 8GB

16GB Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB

Intel 660p 512GB m.2 SSD

EVGA Supernova 850w G+

Cooler Master Hyper 212RGB Black Edition

I'd probably try it with a single stick and xmp turned off just so it's stable first , what does that do

So I tried a different video card and still nothing. Put back the XFX and tried one stick again like you suggested. Turned off XMP (I think, doesn't actually call it that). I'm getting this error now.

Is AHCI enabled for that drive in your BIOS?

AHCI was enabled in the Bios.

Also had a suggestion to run memtest86. Had that run 4 passes and did not come up with any errors. Wondering if this could be an issue with the CPU or motherboard.

Flash your BIOS to the newest revision.
