So basically, my computer has stated to do this annoying habit where the monitor will switch of however the the computer itself continues to run, in addition when this occurs my fans start to make a lot of noise which i assume is speeding up; why? I don't know.
This mostly happens during playing games which some may name as taxing games. This "monitor turning off thing" event seems to happen so far on: Rainbow 6 Siege, Destiny 2 and Fortnite.

For additional info here are some specs for my PC and graphical settings for my games:
Computer: • Asus strix 1660ti

                  • Asus strix B450-F

                  • Ryzen 5 2600 (stock cooler)

                  • Corsair 4x4gb LPX 2666mhz RAM

                  • Corsair RM 650x
                  • 1TB HDD & 500gb SSD

Thank you for reading this ❤️

Hello Roterblade,

you bust your maximum size for your watt.

« For additional info here are some specs for my PC and graphical settings for my games:

                  • 1TB HDD & 500gb SSD» .

90 Mobo

65 CPU

450 GPU

If you have 3 fan = 18

HDD = 9

SSD=3

RAM= 9 to 18

If you have optical disk = 30

And you PSU is gold certified?

I arrive in around 644 watt, don't forget the certification of your PSU.

Give me some news if you resolve your problem.

You are way off on the wattage on the 1660ti. The TDP on it is only 120W. When I saw you listed 650W total for power consumption I was like that's about my system uses and its a bit more powerful than that is with a 8700 and a 1080ti. So his PSU is way more than good for his system.

I suggest you to take a psu of 850 watt, you can take certified bronze. 850 bronze  = 697 in around (capacity of watt [bronze 82%]).

It very important to know i suggest this idea, you can continue to have many idea about your problem for take a good decision about your problem. I hope that will help you Roterblade.

Yeah Fade2Black001 have the right anwser about your GPU,  the GPU have 123 watt, so the problem i think is not about your PSU. Sorry i was wrong...
