[MacOS] VirtualBox crashes when put on background

Hello everyone, when I put my VirtualBox virtual machine open in the background it immediately crashes. I've searched on Google and other forums and I haven't been able to find anyone with the same problem. I need virtual machines for my classes. What can be the problem?

Oracle VM VirtualBox? 

 

If it is that, have you tried updating it to the latest version or prehaps reinstalling it.

 

I suggest you ignore the installer provided by your teacher/lecturer and go straight to the appropriate website.
