So I am upgrading and finally decided on the official build, or builds you may say. I cannot decide on Ryzen or Intel, so here is both can you help me decide? I am going to be gaming and streaming probably. Any recommendations would be appreciated... Lastly what would be a good monitor to use? Also I am aware of the differences in processor, I am not well versed in AMD.

Thanks in advance, Builds below.

For 10 bucks more that the 9700k you can get the 3800x instead of the 3600 and go to a base clock of 3.9 and 8 core. Brings the price up to $20 less than the current intel build you have listed but gets you more machine. Also the B450 Tomahawk Max is about 30 bucks less than the board you have listed and is an excellent board. Is there a reason you chose the one you did for the AMD build?

Nope no reason at all I just threw somthing together to be honest, I am most likely going to go the Intel route because that what I know. The only reason I chose that motherboard is that it goes with my color scheme. White and yellow and black

Fair enough, I see you have 2 m.2 spots on that board, why not get a 1 tb m.2 ssd instead of the 2.5 inch one you listed. Less cables is always nice

I was going to but does it even make a big difference in speed for games and things like that?

Thank you but I was looking for a white, yellow, and black build. Also I am going to be sticking with the RTX cards.

why? the performance hit you're gonna get from ray tracing is gonna make having it moot unless you're on a 2080ti.

it's gonna take a few years before ray tracing becomes more common, plus AMD cards aren't gonna get less support.

Plus I haven't heard bad things about them and the last time i Got a AMD directed card it was all sorts of messed up, for the first year it would just freeze until i took it apart and re applied the paste and then it worked for awhile and then the drivers started to bug out. So I would rather not.
