My graphics card stopped working and my dad who has worked on computers says it was not coming back.So I am now on the hunt for a cheap but good graphics card to go with my already cheap system. I have a Core i5-8600k, A MSI B360 Gaming plus, and 16 gigs of ram so if you have any suggestions please put them in. Anything brand is welcome. Thanks in advance. :)

Used GTX 970 or 980, depending on design they are about 80-200 dollars on Craigslist, finding it local and testing in person is recommended, just beware of scammers.

Also check out EVGA Mid Week Madness on Wednesday, you buy open box or stuff with some cosmetic defects that is pretty much new.

What graphics card did you have before?  What is your budget?  Are you okay with used or would you rather stick with new?

I had an old gtx 9800+ so it allowed me to play a few games but since I'm younger and don't have much of an income it is very hard for me to get the money to get a good new one so I have been looking at deals on new ones or old ones. I'm attempting to stay under between $80-$150. I don't care new or used.

You should be looking for a used RX 570 or RX 580 for that budget.
