now that ubuntu 19.10 is released, what are its system requirements?

I am planning to install in onto a usb drive but I only have an 8gb drive (7.5 useable)

2 GHz dual core processor
4 GiB RAM (system memory)
25 GB of hard-drive space (or USB stick, memory card or external drive but see LiveCD for an alternative approach)
VGA capable of 1024x768 screen resolution
Either a CD/DVD drive or a USB port for the installer media
Internet access is helpful

the iso for standard desktop is 2gb so you'll likely need 3gb+

im confused. so do I need 3+ or 25+ ?

The download for the installer is ~2gb, so get a flashdrive that's at least 3gb in capacity.

Your hard drive needs to be around 25gb or more in capacity to install the OS and use it normally.

You also need your own brain, patience, a box of beer and maybe a bottle of bourbon.
