4k Floatplane support

Wondering what everyone thinks about the delays to 4k floatplane. I've been waiting for a while, and continue to be an OG member (all the way back to the Vessel days). They've been teasing it for a while, and on wan back in September, they mentioned that it's only 2-3 weeks away. 

 

My reason for bring thing this up is that, as it stands right now, the 4k image quality of YouTube surpasses that of 1080p floatplane for image quality. Floatplane still has SIGNIFICANTLY better audio quality, and of course doesn't have the integrated Ads. 

Thoughts?

I agree 4k would be great the floatplane picture is great in quality and collar but falls apart on a 100 inch projector screen due to resolution limitations.
