Hey, I was just wondering, since most UPS systems seem to have usb b ports, and windows sees them as a battery when plugged in, how many can you plug in? Say, out of all 4 rear io usb ports and possibly 4 front io ports on a desktop, with 8 port extenders, so 8x8 so 64 usb ports avail, have 64 ups systems and connect them all to one computer. Will windows detect 64 different batteries? I plugged my 2 working ups systems into my pc (am on win7 right now because code 56 ethernet drivers wont launch because vmware/virtualbox) and it said "Primary battery 1" and "Primary battery 2" and had their state of charge.

Just wondering. It would be cool to get this idea to the team and for them to make a video on it but its probably unlikely.

usb ports are for monitoring.... they do not provide backup power.

the only way having two would make sense if you had redundant power supplies with different power sources.

are you talking about daisy chaining UPS? thats a big no no

see, https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA157424/
