Nvidia 1060

I have a Nvidia GTX 1060, i was playing a game and it started making a buzzing noise and my screen went black. When i turn on my PC the graphics card fans are working but my screen isnt. Any ideas what could cause this?

Please provide some system specs, how old is your card? I’m not really a professional but two heads are better than one.

Buzzing noise? Lets hope it isn't a short. 

Have you tried opening the case and smelling the card? If it has a burnt smell, then you know what's up.

its 2 and a half years old, i have a i5-7500 3.40Ghz, 16 GB ram, corsair VS650, 1 TB, Nvidia GTX 1060

It doesnt smell burnt. I looked at the graphics card and there are a few cables pretty near the fans from the inside of it, So i dont know if it maybe could have cut one of the cables or something.

What graphics card do you recommend for me to buy? i have a i5-7500 3.40Ghz, 16 GB ram, VS650 corsair, and a Zalman Z3 case.

Oh yeah, it's possible maybe one of your fans just brushed off one of the cables hence the buzzing noise. Just inspect the cables if they're alright.

they seem alright, I cant see the ones in the back so i dont know about those.

There is also a lot of dust, as i only opened the case like 3 times and cleaned it twice. Could the dust cause any problems?

For that setup, maybe an Nvidia 1660ti/Super. Or if you can still finding anyone selling a 1080/1080ti or get it used.

Well, I open my case at least every 3 months and blow compressed air to get rid of the dust. Don't quote me for this but in my experience, dust buildup can sometimes increase your case temperatures.

I sent you pictures of the graphics card. There is a lot of dust so i dont know if it maybe overheated.
