bluetooth extender?

hi there , recently at work our bosses have banned mobile phones on the shop floor ,we are still allowed ipods and dab radios ect  to listen to music audiobooks ect 

is there a bluetooth extender that will allow me to use my iphone located in a closed locker about 40 meters from my workstation to my airpods ect

Every job that has had this rule come into place, my way around it was to just keep my phone in my pocket and control my music though the headphones. I drive a transit bus sometimes for work and am legally not allowed to touch my phone while in the drivers seat so i have a bluetooth speaker that has all the controls on it. Also a Smart watch that can control my media as well. Bluetooth is pretty limited for range so if you're stuck to airpods i'd recommend going and getting a cheap ipod.
