Hello there,

I have G.SKILL Tridentz 3200MHz CL16-18-18-38 DDR4 16GB (2x8 dual channel) and I just overclocked It from Cl16-18-18-38 running at 3280MHz ( 1.35V ) to CL18-22-22-42 running at 3827MHz ( 1.45V )

I want to know if it is worth it and if is even any good. I did higher the timings based on what I saw on this site https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/memory-performance-speed-latency

Those timings arent all that great. I would personally be leary of running DRAM voltages at 1.45v myself, but thats just me. Best way to test if any difference really and if its worth it is if you see any real world difference in what you do. There is a point of diminishing returns and even hurtful the higher your timings and frequency go since they dont scale linearly.

Best way to is to tighten them up, change them one by one or little by little and run Memtest until you start getting errors. I am by no means an expert in ram OCing myself.

Thank you bro. It helped quite a bit. I would appreciate other professionals to give their thoughts as well.
