Overclocking RAM, need help

Hi everyone,

So I tried ramping up my memory speed to advertised on my new PC. But unsuccesfully, I have Asus Rog Strix B450-f gaming motherboard, Ryzen 5 2600 which I oc'd to 4.0Ghz in Ryzen master, ram is Team Group Delta R RGB 2x8GB 3000Mhz CAS 16 Timings 16-18-18-38. Tried D.O.C.P, manually but nothing PC restarts couple of times and I get msg Memory settings reset to default cuz failed to bood.

I am complete and utter beginner to OC and would appreciate help and advices. Thnx

When oc'ing RAM and CPU things get sensitive, its either RAM or CPU.

What i mean is you can achieve the oc with a CPU not oc'ed but not both

Shouldn't be a problem to have the CPU OC'ed and DOCP on the Ram. Should even be able to overclock the ram a bit further manually.
Maybe the board doesnt support your Ram.
Made sure the sticks are in the right slots? When activated DOCP the Voltage is at 1.35V?
You could let everything run stock and check your sticks with Memtest or sth like this if they give you any errors.
