Graphics Card problem

So I use an acer helios 300 connected to a monitor, I was playing CS;GO, then randomly my screen just started to glitch alot. I updated my driver from geforce experience but the problem still persists.

I uninstalled my nvidia drivers and restarted, it just worked normal but when i reinstall nvidia drivers from geforce experience my screen glitches.

Those are memory artifacts, if you have any memory overclock, remove it. If none, then you likely have a card going bad.

It could also be temperature related.

My card had a bad contact to the cooler which lead to artifacting @ 52-54 degrees, and crash @ 57 degrees.

so as a last resort before using DDU to completely wipe off nividia driver then use only intel for some light work.

i just underclocked my gpu by -300mhz from the base clock to my surprise it worked, showing some little artifiact here and there.

is it a safe thing to do?
