ignore it, you can't use the extra power it would provide anyway. A single 8 pin already pushes over 350 watts.

You have the Answer right there. You want a 24 pin plus a 4 pin connector for your Mainboard.

You could buy a  8pin to 4+4pin adapter or simply buy a fitting PSU. The Corsair RM650x would be my choice in your price range.

The motherboard has a 8+4 pin for the CPU. However the normal 8 pin connector can deliver more than 350w. So the extra 4 pin isn't really necessary. Not even the 3950x can draw that much power. Just use the 8 pin connector will be enough for OP.
