New gaming PCs should be built from the monitor backwards to the CPU.

 

What screen size, resolution, refresh rate, target FPS.

 

then find GPU to feed it, then CPU to feed the GPU.

What's your target framerate? If you aren't aiming for 144Hz gaming, you can save a significant amount of money.
