Beefier than the Pi Linux Server

Hi all, 

 

I have a Pi 3B+ and using it as a plex server seems to hit transcoding limits, Grafana seems to agree. 

 

What alternative could I look at that is Debian based, sigle board and can be used as a general all purpose server that wont break the bank?

Odroid-N2 or H2, depending on how much you want to spend.

It's a consideration for sure but with usage being thus far of a Plex server, grafana server, DNS hole and noip server I am not sure it would be up to the task?
