Hackintosh questions

Anyone on here a little more experienced in the hackintosh world? I'm close to getting my Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2018) working smoothly, but I keep running into small snags here and there. Primarily I can't get battery stats or sound to work, and the backlight shuts off on boot (but comes up after fiddling with closing/opening the lid). This only started happening when I switched from fakesmc.kext/acpibatterymanager.kext to virtualsmc.kext/smcbatterymanager.kext (it was reported this would fix the trackpad from being jumpy, and it did but at a cost).

 

I've tried posting in the tonymacx86 forums, but nobody seems to want to chime in and help.

 

EDIT: nevermind, updated AppleALC kext and Lilu kext and now we're in business.

It is hackingtosh. It is expected to set your bars low in terms of performance and functionalities.

For sound google VoodooHDA Audio, its an open source driver for all HD  Audio Codecs and is prettty good at detecting ones not supported natively. 99% of the time it woorks great.
