Upgrading my current gaming rig

I’m currently rocking a 2080 with an i7700k and an MSI H110M pro. I have no idea what my power supply is or my ram as they came with the prebuilt I upgraded. I’m looking to possibly upgrade everything apart from my gpu and am looking for an i9900k. Any build recommendations or tips are greatly appreciated, thanks a bunch!

If you have 16GB of RAM, then I wouldn't bother upgrading it unless the look is and issue, and even then, you can drop $20 on some heatspreaders.

 

I would definitely upgrade the motherboard if nothing else, though the 7700K isn't terrible and if rumors are true, the 10th gen Core series will still be on 14nm, but give a significant core and thread boost over the 9th gen, so it may be worthwhile waiting if gaming is your only, or your vast majority use case.

 

If you do many threaded applications, have a need for absurdly fast storage, or just want a better value, then AMD is a fantastic way to go right now. The 3700x is the value king right now IMHO.
