RAM & MOBO Compatibility

I ordered the following RAM and motherboard, and I'm having trouble installing the RAM. Am wondering if I made a compatibility error.

What trouble are you having? Are you lining the notches up correctly?

The RAM is DDR4 and the motherboard supports DDR4 RAM so that's all good.

The notches are lining up, but the RAM won't click in. The motherboard appears to not have the latches on one side. Thought it was weird. But wondered if it was by design or something.

It most definitely should have a latch on the top side if I'm looking at the motherboard picture correctly. The bottom doesn't have a latch though from what I can see, which is pretty normal.

I was just not using quite enough force. I'm so sorry. I'm an idiot. I forgot that RAM needs a little bit of a push to install.
