First time builder

Hello interwebs I have been a long time console gamer and I have recently been enlightened and plan on completely switching over to team PC master race. I have a budget of around $3,000 and I think I have everything worked out on what I want to put in this machine. However this being my first time building my own custom PC I would like to get some opinions on my current build plan.

 

CPU - i9-9900K

Mobo - Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E ATX

Memory - Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB DDR4-3200

Storage - Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB NVME SSD , Segate Barracude 3 TBB 7200RPM HDD

GPU - EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

PSU - Corsair RMx 750W 80+ Gold

Cooler - Corsair H100i AIO

Case - Cooler Master MasterBox MB511 ATX Mid Tower

 

Any comments would be greatly appreciated I will be using this rig to play all the new game that come out (minus switch games) as well as school and work so a little overkill doesn't bother me at all.

Since you go i9 I'd suggest the z390 aorus ultra or pro, 1tb Sabrent NVME SSD, 650w PSU should be enough and a better airflow case like the h500, h500p or h500m from Coolermaster. Also I'd suggest air cooling above AIO.

 

Otherwise it's a nice overkill machine and you should go UW 1440p monitor minimum.

Good. I hate when People buy a 2080Ti and than play on 1080p 60Hz Display.

Well its half good its 1080p but it does do 144hz

Ok, your next Goal is a bad ass Gaming Display.

You want at least 1440p with that Killer Rig.

Yes I think I will stick with the current monitor for a bit and then probably get a nice 1440p/4k? display within the next year or so, I just want to get up and running. I can handle 1080p for a while.
