problems with gpu overheating

Go to solution Solved by LogicalDrm,

First, please try to use punctuation. It helps to understand your problems better.

Now to issue. You have multiple things effecting there. First is the case which has poor airflow (you can watch Gamers Nexus review for example). Secondly you have AIO as intake. While this will be better for CPU, it also means that GPU doesn't get as much fresh air as it would without it. Thirdly you have M.2, a hot component, next to GPU. Less airflow overall + less fresh air + hottie next to GPU. I think that sums it.

Fixes. Move AIO to the exhaust (top). Remove front panel of the case. Increase GPU fan speed.

I just recently upgraded my pc case to panteks eclipse p400s and bought my first AIO watercooler plus aded a stick of m.2 ssd wich lays just under my asus gtx 1080ti poseidon wich runs on air cooling problem is that my gpu wich didin't reach more than 74C on air started to reach 84C wich makes me worried because it starts to reach that temperature every time i start to play games i got water cooler mounted (cooler masterliquid 240) in front with fans pulling air in and one fan wich come with case mounted under the radiator the last fan is mounted at the back of the case for exhaust i did custom fan curve for fans on gpu already wich resolved problems when i was using old case but it didnt help at all now.

What case did you use before? Do you have any spare case fans?

The P400S isn't great for airflow and your temps aren't low but they're far from dangerous.

im going to try it im still not shure if i can fit my aio on top (main reason i didnt mount it on top) i raised gpu fan speed already wich resolved the issue in old case

If you haven't already, try mounting it at the top near the rear as exhaust for a bit more airflow.

It might fit if your ram isn't too tall.
