[Recommendations] Small Box HTPC

Looking for recommendations on a Box style Win10 PC to be used to play backed up Movies from NAS and USB HDDs on a TV.

Used to use a WDTV, but it's outdated, and too slow to navigate to folders.

• Must be able to handle at least 1080p MKV files [4K playback would be a bonus] using iGPU.
• Must have onboard ethernet, no dongle please. Preferably Gigabit.
• Front and rear USB
• 4GBs RAM minimum, non soldered for upgradability.
• HDMI for Video
• SD card slot would be a bonus, can use a USB adapter if necessary.
• Can have a fan, as long as it's reasonably quiet.
• No preference on CPU manufacturer.
• NVMe slot not necessary. SATA is fast enough. Will run SSD.

Any of the Intel NUC's will do. 

I would recommend an i3/5 version, that will be enough even for 4K as that is handled by the iGPU anyway.

 

There are alot of configurations, kits and barebone. Just look out for the one with IR so you can remote control them without needing an app.
