old pc trouble

i3 2120 

nvidia GeForce gt610

intel DH67BL mobo

4gb ram 

1TB HDD

 

these are the specs of my around 5-6 years old pc. 

yesterday while I was working in my pc a message suddenly a blue screen popped up saying,, " pc faced some issues and needs diagnosing (or something like that) " and then my pc restarted.

after that not even the starting screen is showing (the one asking to open up boot menu). but the monitor led is on and the monitor is starting perfectly.. so I don't think its the monitor's fault.

if anyone had a similar issue and had it resolved then please help me..

Try pulling out your graphics card and plugging your monitor into your motherboard and see if anything happens.

Sounds like the hard drive is failing, or has failed.
