Help with ram for Ryzen 3000

Is there a difference between the normal Trident Z RGB sticks or the new Trident Z Neo sticks? The Neo's claim to be better with Ryzen and im wondering if it makes a difference. Im getting 4x8GB 3600MHz either way and they are close in price and CAS timings. Im just wondering if it actually makes any difference on CPU performance or anything

No real difference. The labeling of Ryzen or intel compatible is mostly marketing bullshit and has no real baring on the actual support or performance. Get whichever is cheaper and you should be OK. Here is a video explaining it more in depth from Steve over at Gamers Nexus from a recent Ask GN video: (it should be at the correct time stamp of when hey starts talking about it, if not, it starts at the 7:20ish second mark.

Thanks for the help! The price isn't that different, but Neos are a bit harder to get were I am.
