I have a G1 sniper 5  https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/G1Sniper-5-rev-1x#ov that im trying to update the bios on so I can use NVM-e drive I bought. Is this even possible and if so why wont Q-flash recognize my Flashdrive in a fat32 format with all 3 files for the bios?

What is the file format on the thumbstick?

Main System: Ryzen 2700, Asus Crosshair VII Hero, EVGA GTX 1080ti SC, 970 EVO Plus NVMe, Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz CL14, CM H500, CM ML240L cpu cooler.

Second System: Ryzen 2400G, Gigabyte B450 DS3H, RX 580 Nitro+, Kingston A400 SSD, Team T-Force 3200mhz CL15

If it ain't overclocked it ain't good...

@Mathieu9836 is onto it, it's most likely a format issue on the thumbdrive. Try repartitioning (not just reformatting) it from scratch using diskpart or similar, then try again.

Also make sure that you don't have a BIOS setting that does a partial initialise of USB ports during POST (resetting the BIOS would clear this)

Alternatively, install the (hell that is) App Center, and @BIOS and update from Windows.

I would not use @BIOS to update, i only trust UEFI updates and Flashbios, Gigabyte's software is junk, don't brick your board for stupid reasons.
