First PC build won't boot

You are going to have to buy a GPU for the monitor to display an image; the Ryzen 5 3600 doesnt have a built in GPU

Hi there everyone,
I got a problem in my first build. I've looked up any solution, but i'm still not quite sure; so I'll ask here.

I got everything built and connected (triple checked everything was in the right place with video tutorials, images etc).

When I turn it on, everything seems to work fine: fans start spinning, led work.

BUT nothing appears on the monitor.

There is the LED near VGA that is on.

Here is my build:

  • AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • MSI B450-A PRO
  • Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8) DDR4-3200
  • Crucial P1 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME SSD
  • Corsair TXM Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Semi-Modular

I still don't have a GPU, cause I was hoping I could buy it a little later; but after my research I guess that's the problem, am I right?
Or is it something else

Any help would be so much appreciated!

Ha ha i suppose you did lol. Yeah, it sucks and it was a silly, but understandable mistake. If you need to use your PC soon, i suggest you buy a cheap GPU off eBay for the time being for like 20 bucks. It wont be able to run games well, but will allow you to setup your PC ahead of your GPU onto your monitor. - but if you dont need your PC right away, i guess you should just wait it out until you can buy a proper graphics card!
