GPU trouble shooting Help

I have a R9 270X and i am installing for the first time. After I have installed it and plug cables in I get no post screen. When I take it out and boot from Intel igpu I get post.

Specs

i3-7100

8gb 2333Mhz

Asus B250M plus mobo

500watt cougar power supply

Sapphire R9 270X toxic trio fan

120GB SSD

Do you post with the GPU installed but with your display hooked up to the IGPU?

Did you previously have a GPU installed in the same slot?

Did you make sure the two 8 pin GPU power connectors where connected?

I personally think your PSU will probably be very close to running out of power under load with that card however it should be enough to post.

no, however I tried both with the GPU and igpu

Yep both connected

Possible, but again should be enough to post
