motherboard updates

i am looking at getting a GIGABYTE B450 AORUS PRO WIFI motherboard and a ryzen 5 3600 and have seen in many places that i would need to update something in the bios to be able to use the cpu i am just looking for a summary of how to do this and if possible maybe even a video link if possile

You can ask the seller if the BIOS is Ryzen 3000 ready, you would need a upgrade kit otherwise, so you have to contact AMD.

most b450 board now are 3000s ready...to be sure ask before you buy them..got an msi b450 gaming pro carbon ac last month and the bios is up to date...
