I have a laptop crisis! My girlfriend has bought your laptop to my house due to a black screen. The laptop will boot in safe mode and it will display as normal but as soon as it boots in normal mode the display just stays black!

She did this by trying to connect the laptop to her tv through a VGA to HDMI cable and she accidentally pressed "only show on display 2" on a drop down menu.

Is there any way to undo this?

I have already tried: 1) UNPLUG THE LAPTOP

2) REMOVE THE BATTERY
3) HOLD DOWN THE POWER BUTTON FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS TO 2 MINUTES
4) THEN PUT THE BATTERY BACK IN
5) START IT UP..

but this has not worked.

Need fast reply!!!!!

Reconnect the laptop to the TV with a VGA to HDMI cable. Then just switch it back to Mirror from there.

For my pertinent links to guides, reviews, and anything similar, go here, and look under the spoiler labeled such. A brief history of Unix and it's relation to OS X by Builder.

Plug it into a monitor and change the setting back to display one.

The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.

Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us.
