EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 enough for 3900x + 2080ti

Simon Bruun

Hi

Been holding off a PC upgrade for a long time, and I think the stars are about to align.

I have a EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2, 750W PSU powering my intel i7-4790K + 2080ti

I'm switching that intel out for an AMD x3900 but will be keeping the 2080ti

I guess they are my main power consumers. but there will be an nvme + a 4 SATA SSD in the machine aswell.

Will my EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2, 750W PSU from 2015 still be good enough for my upgrade ?

Assuming you mean the 3900x, yes it will be plenty.

Yes, unless you have a bunch of hard drives and like 30 fans.

2080 Tis can draw ~300A w/o any extreme overclocking, (400W after memory and vrm inefficiencies)

3900X looks to be 150W stock, so 200W after OC.

You should have some headroom left
